This is an invitation to you to be a part of the Young Adult Leaders Summit to be held November 5-7, 2009 in Nashville, Tennessee at the General Board of Discipleship’s headquarters.

We hope that there will be leaders in Young Adult Ministries from across the U.S. involved in the Summit. In past Young Adult Summits, conference coordinators were encouraged to invite up to five leaders from their conference to participate. I hope that you will not feel limited to a specific number this time. For our Young Adult Leader’s Summit I would like to encourage you to invite those you want/need to be a part of this unique experience.

Out keynote presenter, Amy Lynch, is Generation Y columnist for Biz Journals, syndicated to business newspapers in more than 40 markets. Her ideas have been featured in USA Today, the Boston Globe, and NBC Nightly News, among others. The focus of Amy’s work recently has been on Young Adults in the workplace. You can learn more about Amy and her work at her website www.bottomlineconversations.net/ The focus of her time with us will be around the topics of Community and Technology, both critical areas of work as we seek to engage young adults in our churches, communities, and world.

Since this event is for leaders of young adult ministries, it is open to young adults and adults who are leaders in young adult ministries. Through your invitations to others, you can help us create an inclusive community that is rich with diversity and knowledge.

The cost of the summit is $40 per person and covers program expenses, snacks, and brunch on Saturday. Transportation to the event, lodging, and meals will be at the participant’s expense.
