Year in and year out we talk about studying the Social Principles. A Tagalog module was even created by private parties but it never became official. What are the Social Principles? Why are they important?
According to the book, the Social Principles are a call to prayerful, studied dialogue of faith and practice. These principles are a declaration of our personal and social understanding of the gospel, as United Methodists. These principles allow us to explore society, and to engage it as Christians.
The beauty of this new release is that it includes the Social Creed, its Companion Litany, and teaching exercises. This book is available at BCEC Bookstore and Area Distribution points. Contact Vida Grace Sison at 0919.442.3057 for more information.
